(Note: These are just based on my personal experience and observations)

1. When we say sleepless nights, literal yan. Puyat doesn't mean 12am, 1am, 2am. We always witness the crowing of roosters.

P.s. "Most" arki students don't wake up early. Can we still call ourselves sleepless if we still got 8 hours or more sleep? Haha.

2. Plate is life. We need to prioritized our plates/homeworks. We rather cancel our dates, hangouts, even family outings or dinner for the sake of plates. We are lucky if we can bring them. (Hopefully we can bring our drawing tables, tsquares, brushes, etc.) Although, we can choose parin naman between "gala" or "cramming". It's a matter of sacrifice.

3. Plates over her/him. As you read on number 2, plate is life. If you have a relation with an Arki student. I'm sure that the most argued topic is "time". I'm sure that he/she is trying to manage his/her time naman for you. Instead of ranting on him/her, try to understand nalang. Mas mawawalan pa yan ng gana to meet you kung inaaway mo siya lage.

4. We love buildings. Don't ever think that we're weird. Taking photos of every single detail of a building, staring at it? It's just our way in appreciating it. Lalo na if that building is notable.

5. Tres is heaven. Just like other courses. We are happy as long as we passed the subject. It doesn't matter kung line of 7 pa yan. Dos? It's a high grade. Super happy kame kung may makuha kaming 1. something. Math? Most arki students hates math. I don't know why. In nature na ata. Haha.

6. We are "homebody or dormbody". We don't usually attend school programs, unless may required na attendance or plus points. Okaya naman related sa architecture. Like hey, we rather stay home, get some sleep, and do our plates. Period.

7. Architects vs. Engineers. If you think architects and engineers will be always in good terms. Kasi nga diba partners yan? Oo? Pero somehow you're wrong. Just like doctors and nurses, we think that they're partners. May misunderstanding parin. Co-arki students you know what I mean. "Kalaban" daw kase sila. Haha! Hello to CE students there, wag niyo akong awayin.

8. "Architecture is all about drawing". Hindi po, architecture is about designing. Drawing is just our way to represent it. So a normal eye can understand our design, so you or our client can visualize it. Ultimo thermal comfort niyo pinag-aaralan namin. Kaya may tinatawag kaming Green buildings. Tagalog na yan ha para maintindihan mo. Nakakaprovoke lang kase na drawing lang daw arki. Architecture is all about designing every single details of the building.

9. You're amazed with our drawings, for us? Sakto lang. For our professors? Pwede na. Where is the justice? We spend how many hours doing this plate (basically 10% chatting, 10% scrolling facebook, 10% staring at somewhere else, 10% eating, 10% roaming around, 50% drawing) "Tapos 70 lang!?" And suddenly we remember "rush nga pala". *forgets everything*

10. We still know how to enjoy life. Baka akala niyo puro plates lang kami. Every passing day is a party night for us. Sleep party. Haha. Of all the plates, pressure, and stress. We still take time to breath. We still manage our time for plates, significant others, ourselves, and family. We're just doing this to finally wear a toga, go up the stage, and smile like our tip of of our lip and ear meet. And say "We did it!".
